Love Conquers All: Wedding In A Pandemic

Lesbian or gay wedding in Metro Manila

“In the arithmetic of love, one plus one equals everything, and two minus one equals nothing.”

This straight couple decided to have a wedding ceremony officiated by Open Table MCC despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines.

Open Table MCC is known to be one of the few Christian Churches in Metro Manila that opened its doors for LGBT+ couples and straight couples alike who want to have their wedding ceremony even during the “New Normal.”

The featured couple is an LGBTQIA+ ally.

At Open Table MCC, strict health and safety guidelines are followed during the wedding ceremony, such as wearing face masks and face shields, limiting the number of guests during the ceremony, and disinfecting the chapel space before and after each ceremony.
