LGBT Couple In The Philippines Say Their Wedding Vows Despite The Pandemic

Lesbian or gay wedding in Metro Manila

“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

When Harry Met Sally

This LGBT+ Couple decided to have a same-sex wedding despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines.

Luckily, Open Table MCC is one of the few Christian Churches in Metro Manila that opened its doors for same-sex couples and LGBT+ couples who want to have their wedding ceremony even during the “New Normal.”

At Open Table MCC, strict health and safety guidelines are followed during the wedding ceremony, such as wearing face masks and face shields, limiting the number of guests during the ceremony, and disinfecting the chapel space before and after each ceremony.

Register for a Holy Union

If you are a same-sex couple / LGBT+ couple and you are not able to legally marry each other due to the laws of the Philippines not having a same-sex or marriage equality law yet, you might be interested to have a ceremonious wedding instead, or a 'Holy Union', under Open Table Metropolitan Community Church.
