Making the relationship work and making it last is the couple’s responsibility; both persons has to make an effort and to contribute in their relationship.
Any success or failure of any relationship does not rely in any other external force, person or thing. It is with the couple.
God guides and blesses couples. The mere fact that two people are in a loving relationship is in itself a blessing already.
However, like with all blessings, it is up to the couple how to recognize, take care and value the blessing they have received.
Whether a relationship succeeds or fails, it is the couple’s work and effort that makes or breaks them.
Wedding,
friends and family, community, material wealth and other things are all
necessary and important supplements to a relationship but they do not
determine in entirety the success of any relationship.
A wedding ceremony or holy union is not a magic solution for troubled relationships.
God is not to be blamed if shit happens in the relationship.
A church and its Union rites cannot be faulted if a relationship breaks down even after having a wedding ceremony.
Your relationship is YOUR OWN MUTUAL responsibility and NO ONE ELSE’S.
